Community Library
The Coomandook School Community Library is located in the grounds of Coomandook Area School as it is a combined school and public library. It opened in 1983 and is funded by the Coorong District Council, the Department for Education the State Government.
Coomandook School Community library members are users of the SA pubic library ‘one card’ network that connects the systems of more than 130 public libraries across South Australia allowing customers to borrow and return items anywhere across the state. The materials of all participating libraries are available on a single shared online library catalogue that is accessible 24/7 offering a vast range of books, DVDs, audio books and CDs. Items can be reserved online and delivered to any library for pick-up, and returned to any library.
