Please note the Coomandook Community Library will be closed for holidays from 15th December 2018 till the 23rd January 2019. It will be open again from 23rd-25th January 2019 8.30-4pm, then resume normal hours for Term 1 2019.

Coomandook Area School Staff would like to wish everyone a Safe and Happy Holidays and we look forward to seeing you all in 2019. The Front Office will be open on the 24th and 25th January 2019 from 8.30am-3.30pm for anyone wishing to come in and purchase school uniforms.

Our Swimming Carnival will be held on Tuesday 12th February at the Coonalpyn Swimming Pool. All students will be at Coonalpyn for the day. Please refer to notes sent home regarding transport for this day.

Our Year 8's and 9's are on Aquatics Camp from Wednesday - Friday.

Congratulations to Abbie, Kelsey, Max, Caden, Alistair, Josh, and Cherifa who were selected from the U.S.E Swimming Carnival to swim in Adelaide at SSSSA on Monday 4th March.  

The 800m for years 3-12 students will be ran on Tuesday 5th March at 9am. Parents welcome to come and watch.

The 1500m for years 3-12 students will be ran at 9am Thursday 7th March. Parents welcome to come and watch.

Coomandook and Coonalpyn Sports Day will be held on Thursday 14th at 9am. Please see notes that have been sent home regarding helping on the day.

Parent Teacher Interviews will be held on Tuesday 2nd April from 1.40pm onwards. Buses will run 2 hours early in the afternoon on this day. Please contact the school if you require further information.

Friday April 5th is a Pupil Free Day. Staff will be on site undertaking training and development.  

Congratulations to the secondary students who have been selected from the U.S.E carnival to compete in Adelaide at Santos Stadium.

Students will be participating in a Fun Run today. Students have been raising money to assist athletes from Coomandook Area School who have made State Level teams.

Students from years 6-12 will be attending the Royal Adelaide Show, presenting our Steers, Sheep, Goats, Pigs and a Dairy Cow.

Last day of Term 3. School will finish 1 hour early, buses depart school at 2.25pm. We hope you all have a safe and enjoyable holiday!!

A Remembrance Service will be held from 10.40- 11.05am by the Flag Pole near the bus bay. Parents/ Caregivers are welcome to attend.

Year 8, 9 and 10 students have been working hard on their projects to present at the inquiry. All parents and caregivers are welcome to attend.

Last Day of the School Year for 2019!! An assembly will be held at 1.40pm in the Activity Room. All parents/caregivers are welcome to attend. School finishes 1 hour early, buses leave 2.25pm.

Upper South East Swimming Carnival will be held at the Coonalpyn Pool. Students will be notified of team selections ASAP after our CAS Swimming Carnival.

Students will be running the 800m starting at 9am.

Students from Dukes and Parkin will be running the 1500m starting at 9am.

Pupil Free Day 10th March. No school for students as Staff will be undertaking professional development.

CAS Athletics Day. 9am Start!! Please keep and eye out for notes being sent home as we will be after parent help to run this day!!

Congratulations to the students selected to compete in the SAPSASA Softball Championships being held in Adelaide this week. GOOD LUCK!!

End of term assembly will be held on Friday 9th April at 1.40pm. Parents are welcome to attend and will be required to Covid sign in via QR code or sign in sheet.

Governing Council meetings are held twice per term. We welcome everyone to come along and observe the meeting.
