A welcoming learning environment with large classrooms, excellent resources, spacious grounds and well equipped playgrounds give children the opportunity to learn in stimulating surroundings. Teachers, including specialist staff, focus on the development of the whole child and place great emphasis on the needs of the individual. Within a friendly, caring and safe environment, created by small classes, specific attention is given to the development of literacy and numeracy skills within a broad curriculum.

Teaching and Learning Practices

Classroom teachers focus on quality learning and developing the whole child. Staff plan activities to provided children with meaningful, relevant, engaging and challenging learning experiences. Support for students with identified learning needs is provided through our experienced School Support Officers in individual or group settings.

Literacy, Numeracy and ICT is integrated across the curriculum. A specialist teacher takes classes for our Language, Indonesian. An excellent Physical Education program focuses on keeping children fit and healthy with specialist coaches in activities.   Children have access to computers in their classrooms or as a class in the two computing suites. Students also have the opportunity to learn instrumental music with a specialist teacher based in Murray Bridge who teaches through audio conferencing and face-to-face lessons.
The development of Leadership skills is encouraged through participation in the  Student Representative Council.

Parents are warmly welcomed and encouraged to participate and assist in classrooms in a variety of ways.
